Your Day of Radiant Self-Discovery
Start with a refreshing light breakfast and warm welcome, preparing you for a day dedicated to building strength and embracing the bright energy of the season.
We will begin our first session with a Mindful Hatha Flow, gently warming up the body while synchronizing movement with invigorating Pranayama (breathwork) techniques designed to ignite your internal fire. We'll conclude this part with uplifting sun salutations to awaken the senses and cultivate summer radiance.
After a revitalising break, deepen your inner connection in our focused Somatic Movement session before lunch. This practice involves exploring gentle, slow movements to improve awareness of your body's patterns, release chronic tension, and enhance freedom of movement and posture.
Pause for a delicious, seasonal lunch, expertly crafted to fuel your vitality. The afternoon is yours to relax and recharge, with access to Champneys’ luxurious spa facilities – perfect for lingering in the renewing energy and serene surroundings.
Conclude your day with a session of Restorative Somatic Release, followed by a deeply soothing Yoga Nidra meditation. This final practice will help you integrate the day's experiences, bringing you back to a blissful, balanced state. You’ll leave this retreat feeling invigorated, clear, and fully recharged—ready to make the most of summer’s abundant energy.

Originally from France, near the Alps, Sophie moved to the UK in 2011.
Her journey with yoga began as a simple way to stretch after intense workouts - a routine she followed closely, partly driven by a deep dissatisfaction with herself on many levels.
Discovering slower styles, and guided meditation completely transformed her experience and, ultimately, her life. She knows her yoga practice has played a crucial role in helping her overcome mental health challenges over the years. She notices the difference when she misses her regular sessions, as stress and anxiety tend to rise.
This is what fuels her passion to keep learning and deepen her understanding of yoga’s profound effects on our body, emotions, and brain health.
