For more than 100 years, Champneys has believed in balanced living through nourishment, movement and restoration.

Long before wellness became a trend, our founder Stanley Lief championed a simple philosophy: that how we eat influences how we feel. The original Champneys Plate became a practical expression of that belief – bringing together vegetables, proteins, essential fats and carbohydrates in balance.

Today, Balance by Champneys brings that philosophy to life through a modern approach to dining that celebrates flavour, variety and enjoyment.

morning comforts
A balanced start to the day begins with simple, satisfying food designed to nourish, restore and prepare for whatever lies ahead.

Options include smoked salmon & scrambled eggs on toasted cornbread, crushed avocado on grilled sourdough with poached eggs, panckaes with maple syrup and fresh berrie, and shakshuka.

Breakfast is served every morning until 11.30am, with the café available to day guests and the restaurant with continental breakfast buffet for overnight guests.

midday moments
Balance is built on the belief that eating well should feel natural, enjoyable and sustainable.

Designed for flexibility, the daytime menu can be enjoyed as lightly or as generously as you choose. Seasonal salads, sourdough flatbreads, pasta dishes and sharing boards alongside a selection of lunchtime favourites.

The lunch menu is served from 12pm until 5.30pm, in the café and restaurant, with sharing boards available for our afternoon guests.

evening nourishment
As the day draws to a close, Balance takes on a richer character.

Balanced plates, sharing boards and dished from the grill sit alongside lighter options, allowing you to create an evening experience that feels right for you.

Whether gathering with friends, celebrating a special occasion or simply unwinding after a day at Champneys, dinner is designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.

Dinner is served daily from 5.30pm in the café and restaurant with room service available on request and sharing boards for our twilight spa evening guests.

Dine your way

Spa guests joining us for lunch enjoy £18.50 towards the bill.

Afternoon and Twilight guests have a charcuterie board or vegetarian mezze platter included in their spa experience, and are welcome to choose additional items from the menu as their appetite dictates.

Spa guests staying with us overnight receive £35 towards dinner.
