About Valerian
Valerian Spicer started boxing at 30, went on to compete in 64 bouts, two Commonwealth Games, and achieve a world top-20 ranking. A trailblazer for Dominica, she was the nation’s first boxer to medal at a continental championship and the first woman to represent the country internationally, later being named Sportswoman of the Year. As well as being an England Boxing Coach, she now helps others develop strength, confidence, and mental resilience through non-contact boxing.
