Across three focused sessions – Legs, Push and Pull – members will learn correct technique, improve strength and stability, and gain confidence applying dumbbell exercises to their regular gym routine.
Suitable for all abilities, these workshops combine expert coaching with practical, easy-to-follow guidance to support long-term fitness and overall wellbeing, led by Wellbeing Coach Megan.
Wednesday 14th January 12.00 – 13.00 in the Gym: Legs – Dumbbell Strength Foundations
This lower-body workshop focuses on building strength, stability and confidence using dumbbells. Members will learn safe and effective techniques for squats, lunges and hip-hinge movements to support everyday mobility, joint health and overall lower-body power. Ideal for all abilities, this session helps participants feel stronger through the legs while improving balance and control.
Wednesday 11th February 12.00 – 13.00 in the Gym: Push – Upper Body Power with Dumbbell
Designed to develop strength in the chest, shoulders and arms, this workshop breaks down key pushing movements using dumbbells. With expert coaching on posture, breathing and load selection, members will improve shoulder stability and core engagement while learning how to press safely and efficiently. A great session for enhancing upper-body strength without compromising joint health.
Wednesday 11th March 12.00 – 13.00 in the Gym: Pull – Back Strength and Postural Support
This workshop highlights the importance of pulling exercises for posture, spinal support and muscular balance. Using dumbbells, members will learn how to strengthen the back and posterior chain, improve posture and reduce common aches caused by everyday habits. Expect to leave feeling taller, stronger and more confident in your gym training.
