Thinking Clearly and Leading Under Pressure
A 45-minute session with Duncan Hardy
When the pressure is on, our ability to think clearly, make good decisions and lead effectively can be seriously tested.
Whether facing competing priorities, difficult conversations, uncertainty or unexpected challenges, how we respond under pressure can make all the difference.
Drawing on lessons from military leadership and the corporate world, Duncan explores what happens to our thinking when pressure increases, and shares practical techniques to help us stay focused, make better decisions and lead with confidence.
What will you take away?
Understand pressure: Recognise how stress affects our thinking, judgement and behaviour.
Think more clearly: Learn practical techniques to maintain perspective and make better decisions when the stakes are high.
Communicate with confidence: Discover how clarity, calmness and empathy can influence others under pressure.
Lead effectively: Understand how to build trust, encourage ownership and support others through uncertainty.
Why attend?
Pressure is inevitable. Poor decisions and ineffective leadership don’t have to be. This session offers practical insights and techniques that you can apply immediately, whether you’re leading a team, managing challenging situations or simply looking to perform at your best when it matters most.
Friday 20th November
10am – 12pm
Free to attend
