Perhaps you feel responsible for organising everything, keeping everybody happy and creating the “perfect” Christmas. You may already be worrying about complicated family dynamics, difficult conversations, financial pressure or how you will divide your time without disappointing somebody.
For others, Christmas can magnify grief, loneliness or difficult memories. You might find yourself bracing for certain comments, slipping back into old family roles or saying yes to things you don’t really want to do simply to avoid guilt or conflict.
But what if this Christmas could feel different?
Christmas Without the Chaos is a practical and supportive workshop designed to help you move through the festive season feeling calmer, clearer and more in control of your own choices – even when you cannot control the people or circumstances around you.
You’ll create your own Christmas Calm Plan, including your likely triggers, what is within your control, what you need to feel supported and how you want to respond when difficult moments arise.
You’ll leave with practical tools you can use straight away, prepared phrases for difficult conversations and a clear plan to help you protect your time, energy and emotional wellbeing.
Imagine reaching Christmas without feeling that everything is resting on your shoulders.
Being able to enjoy the moments that matter, communicate what you need and give yourself permission to experience Christmas in a way that feels calmer, lighter and more meaningful to you.
You cannot control everyone around you, but you can decide how you want to move through Christmas.
Saturday 21st November
10am – 1.30pm
Free to attend
Together, we’ll explore:
- What creates the most pressure, stress or resentment for you at Christmas.
- The expectations you may be placing on yourself without realising it.
- How to stop taking responsibility for everybody else’s feelings and experiences.
- Simple ways to ground yourself when a person or situation activates you.
- How to communicate more calmly and clearly without guilt, over-explaining or unnecessary conflict.
- What genuinely matters to you and how you would like Christmas to feel.
