About Pilar Isla Rodriguez, GMBPsS

Senior Psychotherapist, Group Facilitator & Mountain Leader, with over a decade of clinical experience.

Pilar is a  Psychotherapist specializing in eating disorders, body image, and the profound impact of group dynamics.

Originally from Argentina – where she trained as a Psychologist and a Mountain Leader – her approach is fundamentally analytical, focusing on the transformative intersection of nature, human connection, and the psyche.

Pilar’s professional perspective is uniquely shaped by her history as an expat, her passion for mountains and climbing, and her advanced clinical training. As an EMDR-trained therapist, she understands how stress and trauma can become "locked" in the nervous system. She deeply believes in the power of nature as a "co-therapist," seamlessly blending these clinical insights with the restorative rhythms of the outdoors. Whether navigating a physical ascent or a complex emotional landscape, Pilar provides the safety, containment, and quiet guidance necessary for individuals to reach their own personal "summits" of insight.

At the heart of her work is the conviction that individual success is built on collective collaboration. Pilar believes we heal most effectively when we move beyond isolation and into a professional, guided community. To provide a truly holistic reset, she curates a network of elite specialists – such as Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing practitioner Shirley Stump – bridging the gap between clinical psychological depth and physical regulation.

Trade your device for a signature notebook and pen. Reclaim the slow, tactile joy of writing and reflection as your brain begins its dopamine reset. After stepping away from our devices, we will explore the impact of technology on our daily lives. We will discuss the reality of being "always on," navigate the initial anxieties of disconnection, and reconnect with the memory of life before the digital age.
Yoga Nidra
Experience a journey into "psychic sleep." Yoga Nidra is an ancient form of meditation practiced lying down, entering the liminal space between wakefulness and sleep. Shirley will guide your physical body into total relaxation while your mind remains awake, experiencing different states of consciousness. This practice is specifically designed to shift the body from hyper-vigilance into profound neuro-recovery, helping to calm the nervous system, reduce anxiety, and balance hormones.
Grounding nature walk
An  immersion into the ancient woodland of Forest Mere to re-engage your senses with the physical world through grounding techniques.
The integration closure
As we return to our devices, we reflect on the day’s insights. We explore how to move forward using technology intentionally, ensuring we are no longer slaves to our own creations, but masters of our own digital autonomy.
