under 18 beauty college student safeguarding

We treat all of our students as independent adults regardless of age. However as under 18s are considered as children in the eyes of the law we have a responsibility to ensure that we are safeguarding these students and we have policies and procedures in place to that in accordance with statutory requirements.

SAFEGUARDING POLICY

The College has a safeguarding policy and a procedure for visitors and contractors to adhere to when on site or visiting college accommodation. Students will be provided with copies of these during their induction. You can download a copy of the safeguarding policy here.

PARENTAL DECLARATION

Parents or guardians of under 18s are asked to complete and sign a Parental Declaration Form which informs parents of policies and procedures we have in place and recognises where responsibilities lie. The form will be send to parents of students under 18 as part of the enrolment process along with our Social Media and Photography Consent Form.
