This one-day retreat brings together elite boxing methodology and mindful practice.

Designed for those who value both performance and balance, this experience offers a structured yet restorative approach to physical and mental conditioning. 

Throughout the day, you will be guided through progressive boxing sessions – developing technique, precision, and control – while integrating moments of recovery, reflection, and reset.

Each phase of the programme is intentionally designed to optimise focus, enhance skill acquisition, and support overall wellbeing.

Set within tranquil and beautiful surroundings, the retreat provides the space to step away from daily demands and engage fully in a high-quality, purpose led experience.

The retreat opens with introductions and structured objective setting, designed to align individual intentions and define clear, focused outcomes for the experience.

The first training session, The Art of Boxing, introduces the foundational principles of the sport. Emphasis is placed on stance, movement, precision, and controlled execution, with a focus on developing confidence, discipline, and heightened body awareness. A short interlude follows, providing time to rest, reset, and prepare for the next session.

Padwork Fundamentals then builds on the foundations, offering a beginner-friendly introduction to padwork. This session focuses on basic punches, combinations, coordination, and rhythm, supporting the development of confidence and technical consistency.

A dedicated recovery period follows with Recovery & Rebalance, allowing time for rest, mobility, and physical restoration. Guests then enjoy Lunch & Leisure – a carefully considered break featuring a balanced lunch and time to unwind, recover, and take in the tranquil surroundings.

In the afternoon, Skill Integration & Advanced Padwork builds on the morning’s learning, introducing more advanced combinations, applied techniques, timing, and flow. This session also includes 1:1 coaching and boxing-specific conditioning for those seeking a more performance-focused challenge.

A brief pause follows to reset and prepare for the final phase of the day. The retreat concludes with Mind & Body Reset, a restorative session focused on refinement, recovery, and mindfulness. Participants are guided through techniques to support reflection, integration, and mental clarity. The experience closes with a final session, and departing feeling restored, energised and enriched with new knowledge.

Valerian’s journey embodies strength, reinvention, and quiet determination.

Entering the world of boxing at 30, she rose to compete in 64 fights, defeating three Olympians and earning a place among the world’s top 20. She made history as Dominica’s first continental medallist in boxing and its first female to represent the nation internationally, later being honoured as Sportswoman of the Year in 2016.

At this retreat, Valerian offers a uniquely refined approach to movement and mindset – guiding you through non-contact boxing experiences designed to cultivate resilience, elevate physical wellbeing, and instill lasting confidence.
