welcome to 2026
The following message was read at the members Christmas party and stands as a perfect open message for 2026.
Many of you will already know that my role has recently evolved, and I have stepped into the newly created position of Spa Operations Manager, alongside continuing as your Club Manager. Please rest assured – the success, growth, and trajectory of the club remain my primary mission. I am deeply committed to our shared vision of becoming Kent’s leading wellbeing facility, and I truly hope you feel part of that dream too.
This new role allows me to spend more time supporting our teams, representing the club’s interests, tightening systems, and improving standards across the building. While I may be teaching a little less, my focus will be firmly on strengthening the foundations that allow our community to thrive. This move is, without doubt, a positive one – because at heart, I am completely biased towards our members. This is our house.
We are delighted to be welcoming a new full-time Personal Trainer very soon, joining what I genuinely believe – and am often told is the strongest fitness team Eastwell has ever had. Hearing that it “feels like a family again” means more to me than I can put into words.
I want to take this opportunity to thank Georgie, George, Imogen, and Steve, whose dedication and passion make the daily experience here so special. I’d also like to extend heartfelt thanks to the wider spa team – our housekeepers, receptionists, maintenance staff, treatments team, and food & beverage colleagues. Many have worked through challenges with limited structure or support, yet they continue to show up with positivity and hard work.
My pledge is simple: to support every one of them and bring the entire team into our shared vision of what Eastwell is – and what it can become. We are building this family not through the pressure or targets and strategy, but through love, respect, and genuine passion for what we achieve together.

Do you suffer from foot, knee or back pain?
A comprehensive gait assessment allows your Wellbeing Coach to determine if your feet are having a negative impact on the way that you stand, walk, run and move especially if you have foot related problems such as knee, hip and back pain.
The assessment includes a foot scan using the GaitScan Computerized Analysis. A report will be generated by the GaitScan software that your coach will review and recommend a treatment plan. Performance custom orthotics may be recommended as a non-invasive treatment of foot-related problems such as knee, hip, and back pain. They also may be helpful in treating bunions, corns, hammertoes, sore arches, plantar fasciitis, sore ankles, shin splints and more.
Look out for our next complimentary foot and gait scan day.
Subject to interest and bookings.

My debut race was in May, where I won my age category and plan to race later this year in October and December.
