We will focus on balancing the Heart (Anahata) Chakra, the energy centre in the middle of your chest that governs love, empathy, forgiveness, and healing. When balanced, it fosters profound self-acceptance and connection with others; when unbalanced, it can lead to emotional isolation, possessiveness, or difficulty in trusting.

Your Day of Connection and Care

Start your journey with a refreshing light breakfast and a warm welcome, preparing your mind and body for a day dedicated to tenderness and expansion. We will begin with our first practice: Gentle Hatha Flow Yoga. This session will gently warm the body, open the chest, and introduce breathwork designed to soothe the nervous system and awaken the energy of the heart.

After a revitalizing break, deepen your presence in our Heart Chakra Flow session before lunch. Experience a rhythmic and mindful flow, connecting your breath to fluid movement to physically open the shoulders and chest. This practice will cultivate a feeling of grace, spaciousness, and gentle strength, specifically focused on expanding the Anahata energy center.

Pause for a delicious, seasonal lunch, expertly crafted to nourish and sustain your wellbeing. The afternoon is yours to relax and recharge, with access to Champneys' luxurious spa facilities – a perfect opportunity to reflect on your intention and soak in the serene surroundings.

Conclude your day with Restorative Yoga and a deeply soothing Yoga Nidra meditation, bringing you back to a state of profound stillness and balanced inner peace. about sophie le reste

Originally from France, near the Alps, Sophie moved to the UK in 2011. 

Her journey with yoga began as a simple way to stretch after intense workouts - a routine she followed closely, partly driven by a deep dissatisfaction with herself on many levels. 

Discovering slower styles, and guided meditation completely transformed her experience and, ultimately, her life. She knows her yoga practice has played a crucial role in helping her overcome mental health challenges over the years. She notices the difference when she misses her regular sessions, as stress and anxiety tend to rise. 

This is what fuels her passion to keep learning and deepen her understanding of yoga’s profound effects on our body, emotions, and brain health. 

Her teaching style? A little giggle doesn’t hurt! Let's have smile, have fun, and enjoy a beautiful day together  

Relevant qualifications: Registered Yoga Teacher (Yoga Alliance), Reiki Master (Usui system), Certified Life & Success Coach (Jay Shetty Coaching School, Association for Coaching), Brain Health & Yoga Specialist (LSBA) and on-going CPD in Neuroscience, Polyvagal Theory, and Somatic Practices

There is a minimum number of people required for the break to run. Breaks will be cancelled if numbers are insufficient two weeks before the start of the break.

By purchasing your place on this transformational workshop, you are consenting to your name and email address being shared with Sophie Le Reste by Champneys before the event for completion of your health declaration form and waiver and pre-workshop information. If for any reason Sophie Le Reste finds that you are not able to participate, a full refund will be provided.
