If you’re not sure what to expect before booking your Champneys spa break, below are answers to some of our guests’ most common pre-arrival questions.
What should I bring on a spa break?
Comfort is the focus of your stay, so make sure you bring comfortable clothing and swimwear. If you’re planning on attending any fitness classes, you should also bring suitable gym clothing and footwear.
Other than that, bring your favourite book and unwind.
How should I dress for my spa break?
We ask guests to arrive and check in wearing casual clothes. You’re then free to wear the robes and flip flops we provide all day, with many guests choosing to wear swimwear underneath. We do ask guests to wear smart-casual clothes during the evening meal.
What’s the etiquette for a spa break?
You’re here to relax, just like our other spa break guests and spa day visitors, so enjoy your time making the most of our treatments and facilities, while remaining conscious that other guests are doing the same.
We know it’s not always possible to switch off your phone, but we do ask that you take any phone calls away from areas where there may be other guests.
What’s the difference between a spa break and a spa day at Champneys?
A spa break is a multi-day experience, allowing you to completely immerse yourself in our luxurious spas and surroundings, meaning you can relax and unwind at your leisure. We provide you with breakfast, lunch and dinner, and of course, a bed, so you can have a wonderful night’s sleep.
Our spa days offer a shorter, single day experience, while still providing everything our spas have to offer, including treatments, fitness classes, and a well-balanced lunch.
