Soul-Soothing Spring Day Retreat

This beautiful spring soul-soothing spiritual wellbeing day retreat is suitable for all levels.

During the day you will experience two practical yoga classes one morning feel good flow yoga and one afternoon yin and restorative, deeply meditative practice. As well as a spiritual well-being workshop.

The first session will focus mainly on a Shakti organic flow of yoga postures working to string poses together so that you move from one to another, seamlessly, using breath. The second session will focus mainly on relieving stress and tension.

Yin is the feminine, passive, receptive, reflective, withdrawn, cool, introspective aspects of life. The Yin yoga practice will incorporate to penetrate deep into connective tissue expanding flexibility while invigorating the energy centers of the body (nadis) to release blockages and increase your chi energy flow both practices will aid any anxiety, insomnia, self- esteem and it will also teach you valuable relaxation techniques. You will also enjoy a soul soothing sound bath to complete this blissful retreat day.

This retreat is set in a beautiful setting and will provide you with the opportunity to work on your individual issues whilst being in a friendly group; Carla will be available throughout the day for questions and advice.

About Carla

This yoga retreat is led by yoga teacher Carla Williams and Guests teachers.

Teaching Yoga and dance for over 20 years, Carla is Champneys in house yoga and meditation specialist. Carla continues her work outside hosting retreats in Tuscany, Italy, Ibiza, Spain and at numerous locations around the south coast.

She also enjoys working within the community - youth yoga and mindfulness workshops for teens and young children as well as dance and drama.

Why do yoga?

The short answer is that yoga makes you feel better. Practicing the postures, breathing exercises and meditation makes you healthier in body, mind and spirit. Yoga lets you tune in, chill out, shape up -- all at the same time.
