FAQ for Buxton Crescent
Children under 4 years of age are accommodated free of charge on a roll away bed. Children in the parents’ / carers room aged 4 to under 12 years pay the price of a bed/extra bed at £40.00 per night to include breakfast.
Children under 5 years of age are accommodated free of charge when sharing with a parent / carer. Children aged between 5 and 12 years pay the price of breakfast and dinner as taken when sharing a room with a parent or carer. We welcome children in to the spa café and the rooftop pool. Treatments and access to the thermal spa facilities are reserved strictly for the use of adults, 16 years and over.
Check-in time is from 3:00 PM, check-out time by 11:00 AM.
Early check-in and late check-out are possible on request and depending on availability. Please note that a surcharge will apply.
Storage facilities for your luggage are available at the reception. The hotel offers a 24hr front desk and porter services.
The hotel can arrange transfers from Airports / Stations by private car and prices are on request.
Local taxes are included.
Valet parking is available for a charge of £30 per night in the hotel car park (subject to availability).
In addition, street parking is available in the vicinity of the hotel (charges may apply). There are also several council car parks within a 5-minute walk with varying charges. Guests can temporarily park in front of the hotel to drop off luggage, before parking.
The Crescent Hotel does accept well behaved dogs at an additional charge of £30.00 per dog per night. Please contact the Hotel at the time of booking to ensure we have a dog friendly room available, dogs will not be accepted unless the Hotel has prior notice. Dogs are not permitted in the Food & Beverage areas of the hotel or in the Spa.
Spa access for packages where it's not included, is available to purchase for £40 per person, per night. Available from
Any Bed & Breakfast packages booked after 3rd March 2026 do not include spa access.
