Mottram Hall’s 7,006 yard 18-hole, Par 72 Championship golf course in Cheshire, is one of a kind. The host venue for the 2013 European Senior's PGA Championship; its tree-lined fairways and subtle rolling greens present a challenge to even the most seasoned golfer.
Set in 270 acres of Cheshire's finest parkland and located one mile from the picturesque village of Prestbury, the tricky, well-guarded greens are broken up into two contrasting circuits of nine. The front nine, with its impressive back-drop of the 18th century hall, gently rolls over meadowland and offers golfers many chances to make a score. The back nine winds through rich woodland and is a much more demanding test of golf, giving you the chance to feel like you’re playing in The Open Championship.
Thanks to a £1.5 million refurbishment, our golfing facilities are second to none. Mid-game, stop at the Halfway House for well-earned refreshments and light bites before taking on the last nine holes, or head upstairs to The Claret Jug restaurant at the end of your game and enjoy a cool beer and a hearty British meal.
