An ancient remedy...

Introducing acupuncture to Champneys Tring. Acupuncture, dating back to 100 BCE, is known to create re-balance to your energy flow and in turn alleviates targeted points of pain.
Acupuncture is part of the ancient practice of Traditional Chinese medicine which has been practiced for more than 3000 years. Traditional Chinese medicine practitioners believe the human body has more than 2,000 acupuncture points connected by pathways or meridians. These pathways create an energy flow (Qi, pronounced "chee") through the body that is responsible for overall health.

By applying acupuncture to certain points, it is thought to improve the flow of Qi, thereby improving health. Studies have shown that acupuncture is effective for a whole variety of conditions. Now endorsed by the NHS in treating chronic pain, acupuncture has become an increasingly popular therapy for pain-relief across the UK.
