Often with pre/post menopause and weight gain we can’t always find a way forward that sticks, we believe that a combined focus on body kindness through education will change that. Be guided and supported through an inspirational experience, with daily nutrition talks and exercise to bring on that healthy perspiration.

As a small group you will have lots of fun exploring fun ways to get more health in our day to day lives. Meet new like-minded friends and enjoy a relaxing wellness experience like no other. The stylish accommodation at Champneys provides the opportunity to really press pause, to recharge and to re-energize. 

How does it work?

Are you 40+ feeling like you are overweight, pre post menopause, do you think you know what to do to lose weight but never seem to lose any or maintain long term. Do you get bored easily then fall back into unhealthy habits, do you exercise either at home or perhaps you exercised in the past but haven’t lately? You know you feel better when eating healthier, but you can’t seem to get going. 

It’s time to reframe your health and well-being with our body kindness weekend.

Nutrition  -  The weekend includes a 7 day personalized plan to follow post retreat.

Movement - Learn how to get the heart rate up - with some fun exercises and ways to burn lots of calories and tone your body. Ideal for beginners and hopefully something you can encourage friends and family to do at home. 

The basic principles of fitness + weight training - Have you always wanted to learn about weight training but felt intimidated at the gym or put off by the “bulking up “from weights. All these myths and more explained, try some basic weight training moves in a safe, friendly, and educational environment. Explore when the best time is to do / add weight training into your week, alongside other activities such as cardio and stretching.

Retreat terms & conditions

There is a minimum number of people required for the break to run. Breaks will be cancelled if numbers are insufficient two weeks before the start of the break.

Retreat sold out?

If you find the retreat you were looking for is sold out or your preferred room type is not available, please email cer@champneys.com and include the title and date of the retreat you would like to book.
