Particia's background includes Iyengar, British Wheel of Yoga and Sivananda teachers. She obtained her Yoga Diploma in India at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Ashram in Kerala.
Her style has evolved into a gentle, hands on approach, helping each student to reach their own potential at their own comfortable pace.
Suitable for students with or without experience, particularly more mature bodies who soon find that stiff or problem joints respond to this gentle approach. There is always an element of fun in her classes keeping everybody relaxed yet focused.
Morning classes usually consist of flowing asanas with attention to breathing, together with partner work.
The late afternoon classes focus more on restorative postures with breathing, meditation and inner awareness techniques. Always followed by a long relaxation.
