Jacky began practising yoga 15 years ago and has been teaching for over eight years. Her teaching style offers an alignment-based yoga, slow-moving, with a great focus on alignment and core stability. Jacky, the founder of Be Yoga, is a Senior teacher, with her experience she aims to help you to bring balance and calmness through movement. The result is a great feeling of expansion, freedom and flexibility from the inside out. Her goal is to empower YOU to be the best version of yourself.
Her classes help you to embrace positive awareness, build strength and a flexibility. The classes take a gentle, yet challenging approach to learning the principles of yoga while receiving individual attention.
Jacky is fascinated by the wonders of our body. We are so much more than a body composed of muscles and bones. Through Yoga we will explore and activate the meridian system, where Qi flows, this is a concept in traditional Chinese medicine about the energy highways that flows throughout the body. We can use these energy channels to restore the optimal energy flow to our body.
Our physical body changes constantly depending on the time of day, and even gets stimulated through emotions, diet and workload. By creating awareness and activating the meridians you will learn how to apply and balance these continuous changes.
Patterns define our lives, we will use a yin-yang approach to restore the contrasting aspects to bring balance. In the morning we will have a Yang Yoga practice, an alignment based practice which heats up the muscles and activates blood circulation. The afternoon will tune into the internal focused and long-held gentle stretches with Yin yoga, a practice that brings the emphasis to the tissues of the ligaments, bones and joints.

-How to balance Qi
-Meridians Organ Health
-Acupressure point massage
During the weekend at Champneys, Jacky will explore how to embrace your practice. By surrendering, one opens the mind and allows new opportunities to flow.
Jacky will offer guidance and encouragement to each Yogi, so the retreat is enjoyable and suitable for all.
