Lead by yoga alliance registered yoga teacher and fitness expert Karen Nally with over 8 years’ experience in the health and wellbeing industry. Karen was taught by world renowned teachers Kosta Micheien, Jason Milne, Alicia Castilles, Michelle Lamb and Craig proctor at Vikasa, Koh Samui, Thailand.
Karen regularly runs classes and workshops offering her extensive knowledge of yoga, nutrition and wellbeing advice.
Karen teaches Vinyasa flow and a unique mix of Hatha and Restorative to all yoga levels. She believes in ensuring each client’s yoga levels are managed by tailored yoga sequences with modifications especially for them. This break offers the opportunity to unwind, pamper, detox and delve deeper into yourself and yoga whilst enjoying the company of a great group of yogis. It is suitable for all levels whether you’re completely new to yoga or looking to expand your current knowledge.
Yoga and Mindful Meditation
Karen will be focusing on yoga to energise and restore followed by mindfulness meditation to relax. During the retreat you’ll explore three different styles of yoga with a mindful meditation class following each practice .You’ll improve strength, tone and stamina in the Vinyasa classes, relax body and mind in the Hatha and Restorative yoga classes and feel the whole body refreshed with the mindful meditation classes. Karen will guide you through meditation and pranayama (breathing) exercises that enable busy minds to switch off. Karen will be on hand to assist one-to-one, helping you to achieve correct alignment and fluidity in your practice, at a pace that is right for you then ease you into a guided meditation.
Yoga is a wonderful practice to bring harmony to our lives. During a yoga class you will take a journey to let go of life’s stresses, connect to your breath, increase your flexibility, improve your health, and develop your self-awareness whilst deepening your spiritual side to become the best version of you.
Ayurvedic medicine - Let's start at the beginning. There are three doshas in Ayurveda—vata, pitta, and kapha. We have a unique combination of these three doshas that stays constant throughout our life and serves as a blueprint for our health. Learning your unique dosha combination and understanding your constitution can reveal your natural inherent strengths and illuminate your greatest nutrition challenges. The effects will be seen not only in your body but in your mental and emotion wellbeing too. Karen will personally assess you to determine your Ayurvedic profile. This holistic approach to health allows you to become a balanced, vital, happy person Karen will give you a personal diet and recommendations in foods and eating habits and a specifically tailored juice every morning.
Life Coaching Workshop
No matter how well we are doing there is always room for improvement. This workshop will help you explore all areas of your life to gain a clearer picture of areas you may need to improve to become your higher self.
In this workshop you will explore your life, identify weaknesses, how to overcome them, what you need to change and how you need to change it. Using the most effective life coaching methods, Karen will work with you to identify changes you can make to become the best version of you. Take control of your life and learn about yourself and areas of your life that need attention for you to become fulfilled in every aspect of your life.
