In our busy lives, we often don’t get the chance to pause and re-connect to our ourselves. In this inspirational weekend of yoga and mindfulness sessions, we’ll explore ways to connect with our body and breath and find a sense of peace and stillness. This one-night weekend will leave you feeling grounded and uplifted, open to all levels from beginners to advance levels of practice.
Jasmin is a Psychologist and Director of the Bahia Yoga teacher trainings. Influenced by Zen meditation she has trained in breathing and mindful practices from yoga nidra, restorative yoga, to yin yoga and pranayama. She has also completed comprehensive trainings in classical hatha yoga, ashtanga and vinyasa flow.
Jasmin has a knack of teaching yoga to all levels of ability. Bringing humour and lightness, her balanced approach incorporates philosophical sound bites and accessible breathwork techniques.
Jake is an experienced teacher of mindfulness and meditation. He began practising meditation in 1995 and has led retreats for over ten years. As director of Nottingham Mindfulness, he regularly runs courses eight-week courses for stress reduction. He completed a three-year meditation teacher training with Gaia House and has also studied mindfulness at Bangor University. Jake has also qualified as a yoga teacher and incorporates mindful movements into his classes.
Jake is passionate about the way in which meditation and mindfulness can transform our lives and enjoys finding new ways to make the practice accessible to all.
Note: Jasmin and Jake will lead some sessions jointly; and some sessions will be run separately. Both teachers will be available for Q&A on Sunday afternoon.

There is a minimum number of people required for the break to run. Breaks will be cancelled if numbers are insufficient 2 weeks before the start of the break.
