What It's All About
This course is for anyone who can already swim and glife with their face in the water and would like to be able swim a smooth, fluid, and sustainable breaststroke.
Breaststroke; the most therapeutic of all the strokes, ideal for calming the nervous system, reducing anxiety alongside building flexibility in mid to lower back, ankles & knees and strength in quadriceps.
The aim of the course is to show you how to craft this extremely elegant stroke, enabling you to take full advantage of its major health benefits.
By the end of the course you will have worked on:
▪ Maintaining a healthy head/neck/back alignment during all phases of the stroke
▪ Perfecting a symmetrical leg action which prevents a twist of the spine
▪ Discovering how a long glide is at the heart of the stroke, it allows time to release breath and lengthen and widen the back.
After arriving at 9.30am, you’ll be welcomed with refreshments and an introduction. There will be two group pool sessions, two group dry land practice sessions, and video feedback. You’ll also enjoy a nutritious hot and cold buffet lunch.

There is a minimum number of people required for the break to run. Breaks will be cancelled if numbers are insufficient 2 weeks before the start of the break.
