What It's About
Our run and restore programme with Janette Cardy is about bringing like-minded people together
to work out, help each to get motivated, and to inspire each other. Also to work on not only the
body but to take time out to relax and unwind. A fun packed day with time to socialise and to ask
Janette ANY questions on running that you may be interested to know about. You can do as much
or as little of the sessions as you choose. This is your day.
We will address the following:
Run form and cadence; warm up and cool downs; Fitness Pilates for running; Stretching for
running; How to write your own run programme, key sessions to include in your programme; and
specific run drills.
Janette has worked in the fitness industry for 20 years. She runs the very successful fitness
company called Janette Cardy Fitness which provides a variety of fitness options such as classes,
PT, online courses, health and wellbeing retreats, triathlon coaching, and motivational speaking.
Janette has a positive approach to fitness and helping everyone to achieve their own individual
goals. Janette is friendly and will make this retreat fun and motivating.
The stay includes:
· Day 1
Arrive from 2pm
From 2 pm Welcome from Janette and settle into rooms.
3 – 5 pm Easy run together, then practical session of warm ups and Run Drills.
Free time from 5-7 pm.
7 pm. Dinner all together.
7.30-8am Easy early morning run together.
8.00-8.45 am Fitness Pilates (book in for the number of people booked in)
9-10 am Breakfast all together
10-11.30 am Presentation on how to write your own run programme, key sessions to
include and motivation/goal setting. Q and A on running.
11.40-12.50 Run Interval session (Gym) and cool down stretches.
1-2 pm Buffet lunch together
2-4 pm free time to use the facilities.

There is a minimum number of people required for the break to run. Breaks will be cancelled if numbers are insufficient 2 weeks before the start of the break.
