We’re delighted to announce an extension to the Champneys portfolio with the acquisition of Eastwell Manor.
Effective from 1st November 2016, the historic property in Ashford, Kent, sits within beautiful grounds and includes 62 bedrooms and suites, two restaurants, a spa, nine-hole golf course and a collection of leisure facilities.
Champneys will provide quality, expert-led health and beauty services in line with its other health spa resorts – which offer more than 100 spa and beauty treatments, specialist retreats, expert advice, fitness classes, nutritious food and medical services.
In addition to the five resorts, Champneys also operate six city spas, a college, beauty courses at LCCA and a range of globally recognised products.
As the original wellbeing pioneers, Champneys continues to break new ground in health and wellness, with the acquisition of Eastwell Manor following on from a year of significant investment. With key developments made at both Forest Mere and Tring, and further renovations planned for Henlow and Springs, Eastwell Manor will also undergo similar investment.
Stephen Purdew, Champneys Owner said: “The acquisition of Eastwell Manor is a major milestone for the Champneys Group. As the original pioneers of health spa resorts in the UK we are delighted to be welcoming such a landmark property to the group and for Eastwell Manor to develop its own wellness credentials. We are continuing to look at our future growth and with recent investments in our signature properties we are very excited about wellbeing in the UK.”
