ACCOMMODATION
Each of our comfortable bedrooms is centrally heated, and
has remote controlled colour television, telephone, hairdryer,
mini-safe and refreshment facilities. All have en-suite facilities
and a range of our Champneys toiletries for your convenience.
Accommodation is available in five differing room categories,
beginning with our Economy Rooms which are an ideal option
for those on a limited budget. Economy rooms have restricted
views and a bath is not always available. Standard Rooms
are comfortable accommodation with all essential requirements
and full en-suite facilities.
For added luxury upgrade your room choice to our Superior,
Premier or Suites.
- SUPERIOR: Our Superior rooms often offer prime views
of the resort and come with complimentary robe hire, slippers
and natural mineral water.
- PREMIER: Our spacious and luxurious Premier rooms are
positioned in prime areas of the resort. Premier Guests
will receive Premier Service when booking a full tariff
residential stay, and a gift of a gold embossed luxury
robe, slippers, tote bag and shower gel (Not available
on discounted or special offers). Each room also contains
natural mineral water and TZU natural energy drink and
fresh fruit.
- SUITES: Our Suites are individually styled rooms offering
the ultimate in space and luxury. Suites at Champneys Tring
are air conditioned. Premier Guests will receive Premier
Service when booking a full tariff residential stay, and
a gift of a gold embossed luxury robe, slippers, tote bag
and shower gel (Not available on discounted or special
offers). Each suite also contains natural mineral water,
TZU natural energy drink, fresh fruit and flowers.
CUISINE
Our resorts specialise in healthy cuisine, using the freshest
and finest ingredients to produce a wholesome, balanced and
delicious diet. Included in our packages is a buffet breakfast,
a varied choice of salads and hot dishes in our luncheon
buffet and a three course evening meal, with menus changed
daily. We also provide light diet, vegetarian and vegan options.
We are also able to cater for special diets and kosher meals,
however prior notice will be required and a £10 supplement
per day will be levied at the resort.
FACILITIES
Guests are invited to enjoy unlimited use of all facilities
throughout the day including our indoor swimming pool, whirlpool,
sauna/laconium, steam room, computerised gymnasium, studios
for exercise and relaxation classes, bicycles and tennis
court.
WELLBEING AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES
Each resort offers a complete exercise and relaxation programme
to suit every age and level of fitness. Our professional
fitness instructors will assist you with your wellbeing break
and are on hand to answer any questions you may have. No
charge is made for the majority of these classes during the
day but certain classes will need to be booked on the day
they take place.

WHAT TO BRING
The most important thing is to feel comfortable. A warm
towelling robe is ideal within the health resorts. We hire
towelling robes for your use (a deposit is taken if not included
in your rate). Please bring swimsuits for the Spa areas.
The gymnasium and classes require exercise wear and proper
exercise trainers for your safety, preferably two pairs -
one for indoor and one for outdoor activities. For country
hikes, walking shoes are suggested. Within the health resorts
slippers
may be worn, these are available for purchase from the boutiques.
Dress is informal at all times, however guests are reminded
that towelling robes are not permitted in the dining room
or lounge area after 6.30pm. If your stay includes a morning
arrival it is recommended that you pack a day bag of clothes,
swimsuit and toiletries to begin the day as you arrive.
ARRIVAL
Your bedroom accommodation will be available from 2pm onwards
on the day of arrival. However please note your package arrival/departure
information may vary from these times.
PREMIER SERVICE
Champneys offers a Premier Service that is complimentary
when making a booking at Premier or Suite rate from the full
tariff. (Not available on discounted rates or special offers).
The Premier Service is designed to offer a personalised service.
Premier guests will receive the individual attention and
expertise of one of our Premier therapists, who will create
a tailor-made schedule for you. Guests can also relax in
our private premier waiting areas. Premier Guests receive
a range of complimentary gifts including a gold embossed
luxury robe, slippers, sports water bottle and tote bag.
TZU natural energy drink, natural mineral water and fresh
fruit will be in your room on arrival and a complimentary
newspaper.
TREATMENTS
A Treatment and Services Guide will be sent to you with
confirmation of your booking. Please pre-book additional
treatments/wellbeing services 14 days prior to arrival otherwise
your treatments/services cannot be guaranteed. All treatments/wellbeing
services are subject to availability. For Mother-to-Be guest
on residential breaks please note that your thalassotherapy
session can be substituted with a make-up workshop. Any other
contra-indicated treatment can be substituted with either
a facial or a Spa Cocoon. All other treatment preferences
are subject to the normal upgrade fee and practise.
GOLF
Golf and horse-riding can be arranged close to our resorts.
Guests will need to arrange their own transport.
ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION
The Champneys Group operates a policy of providing alcohol,
with controls, in its dining areas, as an accompaniment to
meals. This is in line with current health advice on alcohol
unit consumption. The drinking of alcohol in other public
areas is not permitted. It is requested that guests do not
bring alcohol onto the premises for consumption in bedrooms.
On safety grounds alcohol consumption affects an individual’s
safe use of health resort facilities and the receiving of
treatments with the possible consequence of dangerous side
effects. We aim at all times to preserve the peace and tranquillity
of all guests within the health resort.
A ‘low tolerance policy’ is applied to individuals who cause
a nuisance and disturbance through not respecting our policy on alcohol.
SMOKING
Smoking is restricted in specific areas or smoking rooms
only. All bedrooms are allocated as non-smoking.
DEPARTURE
On day of departure, guests are requested to vacate bedrooms
before 10.30am. Changing facilities will be made available
for those guests whose stays invite them to stay until 4pm.

treatment schedule will be prepared prior to your arrival.
We regret that it is not possible to meet all treatment requests
for specific times. This is due to therapist skills and room
allocations. Wherever possible guests visiting together will
be allocated the same times.
