Springs £1 million Refurbishment
Champneys Springs has recently completed the final stage of its £1 million refurbishment. Separated into two phases the Springs health spa resort, found in the county of Leicestershire, has been "completely transformed" says Carol Harvey, the Resort's Operations Manager.
Phase one of this exciting development to the resort was completed in September 2012 and included the reception, retail areas and the main lounge. Updated to a much more modern and stylish look, these areas are now fresh, bright and welcoming. The lounge area has been updated so that it now boasts a relaxing and comfortable area complete with chaise longue and stylish gold voile curtains, perfect for settling down with a book. It also has an area with beautiful seating which is more upright, perfect for catching up or enjoying a refreshment. Brick work has been painted white and neutral wallpapers have been used to brighten and lighten the resort.
Guests have found the stunning new interiors stylish and sleek.
Phase two of the refurbishment, which has just been completed, includes a complete overhaul of the Mallard Restaurant, the spa lounge, spa reception and waiting areas, the conference reception and Thalassotherapy waiting area. These areas now have a complete new look with a gold, neutral theme throughout the carpeting giving it a soft, warm and relaxing feel. Although the resort does have a conservative feel it has now been embellished with a stylish new twist bringing it more in keeping with the other Champneys resorts. Champneys has always boasted traditional luxury with a twist of modern and although our Springs resort does have a more modern exterior to our other resorts the interior is now a delightful blend of traditional and modern.
