This is a guide to some of the common names
used and their class formats at the resorts. Note that all classes
listed are not offered every day of the week. |

Body
Sculpt Classes
These resistance training classes develop and strengthen isolated
muscle groups, improving posture and defining shape. Your own
body weight may be used for resistance and classes may use
modes such as weights, bands, bodybars, balls and/ or steps
etc. Various types of body conditioning classes are available. |

Circuit
Training Classes
These classes can involve cardiovascular and/or resistance
training. They will include various stations which work different
body parts or the cardiovascular system. The time spent at
each station can be in seconds, minutes or an amount of repetitions.
There is usually a short recovery period between stations and
the circuit is often repeated between 1 and 3 times. |

Step
Classes
These classes include aerobic work for the cardiovascular
system by stepping on and off a step. Several different types
and levels of step classes may be available, some include toning
work using the step, others include interval work or aerobic
routines off the step. |

Aerobic
Classes
These choreographed classes incorporate a mixture of high
impact moves with low impact alternatives, to improve coordination
and maximise on cardiovascular benefits. Low impact aerobic
classes will also have a cardiovascular section but will exclude
high impact moves and so are easier on the joints.

Fitball
Classes
These fun, total body conditioning classes use a ball to help
improve functional strength, challenging the deep core stabilising
muscles, and flexibility. |

Aqua Classes
Experience the benefits of a water workout using specialised
gloves, dumbbells and/ or woggles. Each workout combines cardiovascular
and resistance exercises for a total body workout that is suitable
for non-swimmers and for all levels of fitness. |

Stretch
Classes
Time dedicated to relax and enjoy a class of soothing top
to toe stretches that aim to improve overall flexibility and
mobility to leave you feeling relaxed, released and stress
free. |

Spinning
Classes
Cardiovascular classes offering a unique aerobic challenge.
Based on the schwinn fixed wheel stationary bikes, the instructor
will guide and motivate you through a group exercise experience
to music. |
 |
Dance
Classes
The opportunity to find your creative self and bring out the
performer in you. Line dancing, Showtime, Funk, Jazz, Disco
and/or Salsa classes maybe available at selected resorts. Style
may vary daily/ weekly. |
 |
Outdoor
Activities
Invigorating leisure walks, power walks and jogs are amongst
the available outdoor activities offered to explore the local
countryside. Outdoor trainers are essential. |

Gym
Activities
Join our qualified fitness instructors and learn how to use
the gym equipment safely and effectively. |
