Personal Training
Champneys Personal Trainers will guide you through a complete fitness programme which can include training in the gym, outside or in the pool, as well as providing general advice on nutrition and ways to improve your lifestyle. Your Personal Trainer will also monitor your progress and introduce you to new exercise techniques, keeping you challenged and motivated at all times.
Sessions can be shared and group bookings are available. To book please go to Treatment bookings and select the Fitness and Wellbeing tab.
Personal Training sessions start from just £25 and include:
Personal Training - Aquatic Workout - 25mins/55mins
Work with an aqua instructor to start or continue water workouts. Learn exercises to improve your
flexibility, cardiovascular endurance and strength. You’ll develop a water workout you can use
at home.
Personal Training - Flexibility/Stretching - 25mins/55mins
If you suffer from muscle tightness and joint stiffness, you’re a perfect candidate for a one-on-one
flexibility session. Meet with a personal trainer who will assess your needs and assist you with a take home flexibility programme to elongate muscles, improve, posture and prevent injury.
Personal Training - Resistance - 25mins/55mins
Learn the benefits of resistance training and maximise your fitness programme by taking home a
comprehensive customised resistance training programme. Whether you’re a beginner in the gym or
have an existing programme, working with a personal trainer can help you achieve your goals.
Resistance training sessions may include a variety of props and tools to help you increase strength,
endurance and lean muscle mass at home or in the gym.
Personal Training - Sports Specific - 25mins/55mins
This is the perfect service if you are training for a competition or event. Get personal advice from a fitness
professional who will assess your training programme, take you through appropriate exercises and give you precise, written instructions to take away with you. We can help you improve at virtually any activity -
popular sessions include: Cycling, Marathon or 10K, Swimming , Team Sports and Triathlon.
Personal Training - Swim Lesson - 25mins/55mins
Private lessons are available for beginner, intermediate or advanced swimmers. Learn basic swimming
skills, correct your stroke for improved lap-swimming, become a more efficient swimmer, learn better
breath control or learn advanced strokes.
Personal Training - Tennis Lesson - 55mins
Private lessons are available for beginner, intermediate or advanced players. Learn basic tennis skills,
correct your front hand and back hand strokes, serving technique and game play.
Mind-Body - Private Training - 55mins
Would you like to establish a mind-body practice or enhance your current routine? Explore any of the
following 55-minute, one-on-one sessions.
Meditation - 55mins
A mind-body trainer guides you through techniques to calm the mind, relax the physical body and
reduce the distractions to gain a state of restful alertness and give you invaluable tools to combat stress.
Tai Chi - 55mins
Enables a total beginner or the more experienced to use exercises and moves to enhance their life skills,boost their vitality and maintain health and flexibility.
Yoga - 55mins
A skilled Yoga teacher can provide you with a personal daily practice or refine your postures to unify
mind and body and co-ordinate and re-energise your system.
Pilates - 25mins/55mins
Helps to re-shape and align, build true core strength, increase flexibility, improve posture and coordination and promotes a healthy, focused mind.
