Shiatsu means Finger (shi) Pressure (atsu). Originating in Japan, the treatment uses thumb, finger and palm pressure along specific meridians, which can stimulate and free blocked energy called Ki. Shiatsu tones and corrects the flow of Ki, thereby easing aches and pains, fatigue and tension. It is also effective at promoting and maintaining health and treating specific conditions.
