Champneys Forest Mere

" Dear Champneys, I came to Champneys for the night of Friday 18th November. My mum, Annie Bartosik, organised it as a special treat for me, for the night before my wedding. My two friends and I were in the most beautiful room! We had such a lovely evening together and it was great to have the girls to share my room, in support and in preparation for my wedding the next day. Waking up and overlooking the mist on the lake was such a special thing for me. My grandparents used to live at the lodge house, a little further down the drive at Forest Mere. I used to spend all my weekends staying with my grandparents there, as a child. It felt like a second home, and to wake up the morning of my wedding there was just wonderful. All the staff at Champneys were very kind and welcoming, and made our stay extra special. I can't praise them enough. My husband has heard all about our wonderful stay there. " I have purchased the “Age Excellence” collection and have been using it for a couple of weeks, Well what can I say, it’s brilliant. I normally use Estee Lauder, Re-Nutriv, and have done so for the past 10 years. The cost of the complete “Age Excellence” range is less than one Re-Nutriv cream! The results, just from a two week period, are fantastic. The product offers great value for money, and more importantly, RESULTS. For an “older person” working in a climate of less expendable income, it ticks all the boxes. "

Boot Camp - Champneys Tring

" The Boot Camp week was tough but the instructors were there to support and encourage everyone to help them achieve their full potential. Following a varied and fun programme of activities, everyone was able to work at their own pace. I tried out new sports such as spinning and aerobics and joined in outdoor games and waterpolo which I had not done for years. The workouts were challenging but by the end of the week I was able to do so much more than I had expected to my amazement. My fitness improved dramatically and so did my shape. The experience had such an impact on our group that we came back for more and thoroughly enjoyed a reunion weekend catching up and seeing how well everyone had done since the camp. Thanks to Nick and Michelle’s enthusiasm we may even meet up again!’’ "

Champneys Forest Mere

" It is the best spa I have ever been at - it was a perfect thing to do at New Year as it really helped me start the year feeling revitalised - I rate it 100 percent on everything. The exercise classes were great, especially hula hooping and stretching, the trainers were helpful and friendly, the building, rooms and facilities were excellent and it was warm enough, the pool area was wonderful, the grounds were fantastic, the food was superb, the service was excellent. We attended fun stuff too, the tarot reading was really good, the treatments were wonderful. I honestly cannot find fault with any of it and am definately coming back! "

Club Membership

" Champneys Club member Jane Tucker has turned her life around since discovering shocking news about her health after visiting the doctor, and the appointments that followed. As well as high cholesterol and a high BMI, Jane had bad joints and felt constantly breathless. She says, ‘I was so shocked at the results. Your life races in front of your very eyes when you are told your heart is old and battered.’ It was time to sit up and pay attention. Jane started cooking healthier meals and the weight started to drop off which made it easier for her to stick to a new diet. Jane also worked on the emotional side of her eating, the importance of understanding and realising why she was eating and taking positive steps to overcome this. Life has also been very different since becoming a Champneys club member – 12 months on Jane has now been told by the doctor that she has the fitness of an athlete and the heart of a 37year old. She says, ‘I feel fantastic and am blown away with my own achievements. I can now enjoy so many activities and I’m never out of the gym. I love it! She says, ‘The fitness team have been so supportive and inspirational but it has to be said the whole team throughout the resort at Champneys are faultless. I pass on my thanks and appreciation to everyone at Champneys Springs.' "

" I last visited Champneys some 5 years ago and I feel the food has vastly improved since then. The service was excellent. I found the therapists all very polite and informative. My daughter particularly enjoyed her 1st visit and talking to the therapists, as she too is about to commence a course in Beauty Therapy. She loved her chocolate wrap! Sadly we were unable to attend any of the talks, as we had treatments, but speaking to some other guests, they had found them interesting, and not something they would have normally taken part in. "

" We visited Champneys Tring recently for my friends Hen Weekend. It was fantastic fun. We had great weather so we were able to enjoy sitting out on the terrace. The staff were all so helpful and all went out of their way to ensure my friend had a weekend to remember. The resort has changed so much since my last visit 5 years ago- but all for the best may I add. The facilities are great, the food is delicous, and the treatments were very relaxing.
