Champneys USA launch party
It was a star-studded bash when VIPs including Kelly Osbourne, Bear Grylls and Katherine Jenkins joined host Piers Morgan at the Champneys launch party in L.A. on the 4th May. Kelly said 'Since I can remember, I would always go to the Champneys UK Spa when I needed a relaxing getaway. The spas are gorgeous and now I can finally have a little piece of home here in the U.S.'

Mediterranean Bliss voted Best Bubble Bath in Beauty Awards
We're excited to tell you about our first beauty award since we launched Champneys spa products in the United States! Our Mediterranean Bliss Bubble Heaven was voted Best Bubble Bath in SELF magazine's Healthy Beauty Awards 2012, which you can find in the May 2012 issue. The winners were selected by readers who tested more than 1,300 new products to find “the best of the best beauty boosters for every budget.”
Richard makes a big splash for Brain Tumour UK!
On Saturday 31st March, Richard Green (Senior Fitness Instructor at Henlow) swam the equivalent of the English channel. That’s 22 miles or 1408 lengths of Henlow's 25 metre swimming pool. He started at 5am and finished at 10.12pm. A real marathon effort. He was swimming to raise to money for Brain Tumour UK and the Champneys charitable fund. So far he has raised close to £3500, which is fantastic but we still like to raise more, so please donate to show your support at www.just-giving.com/richar

Wow! What an exciting - and extremely busy - time it has been here at Champneys. The launch of Champneys products in Boots nationwide has been so popular that we have now gone global, launching the our range of luxurious but affordable products overseas in Europe, Thailand, the US and the Middle East!
Dorothy Purdew Queen of Spas celebrates her 80th birthday
Mrs Dorothy Purdew, founder of the famous Champneys Spa Resorts celebrated her 80th birthday in style recently. She attended a party at the Dorchester Hotel in London and enjoyed the occasion with friends and family.
Champneys charity bike ride is back!
Sign up now! On Sunday 20th May 2012 our 10th annual charity bike ride will take place in Henlow. A choice of a 22 or 36 mile route around the beautiful Bedfordshire countryside to raise funds for Silver Star appeal, Target Ovarian Cancer, Prostate Cancer and Champneys Charitable Foundation. Anthony Costa joins Champneys Boot Camp
Antony Costa from boy band Blue recently attended the Champneys Boot Camp at Tring and lost half a stone. He found it an enjoyable challenge. The other members of Blue were very supportive during his trip and even a little jealous! He plans to continue the good work he started at Champneys to improve his fitness levels.
Backstage at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball!
Last weekend Champneys was invited backstage at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball at the O2 to provide relaxing treatments for the artists and musicians. Performing at the two day music event were Rihanna, Jessie J, Labrinth, The Saturdays, The Wanted, Ed Sheeran, Olly Murs plus many more.
Champneys wins best UK spa award!
We're excited to announce that Champneys Forest Mere has won the prestigious Sunday Times Travel Magazine Readers' Award 2011 for Best UK Spa! Champneys took first place ahead of Ragdale Hall and Thermae Spa, Bath. The Forest Mere spa hotel in Hampshire, has picked up two awards this year, the other being the Condé Nast Traveller Readers' Award 2011. Thank you to everyone who voted for us and congratulations to all staff at Forest Mere.
Champneys Swimming Coach wins gold!
Congratulations to Laura Merchant, Champneys Tring's swimming coach, for winning a gold medal at the Swimming Masters Nationals in Sheffield for the 1500m event. Laura is now British champion for the 1500 metres in her age group. Well done Laura!
Downton stars visit Champneys
Three key members of the cast of Downton Abbey got together at Champneys Tring health spa on Monday after three fans of the ITV drama bid a total of £12,000 for charity to join them for a day’s pampering. Michelle Dockery who plays Lady Mary Crawley, Laura Carmichael who plays Lady Edith Crawley, and Zoe Boyle who plays Lavinia Swire enjoyed meals and a variety of treatments with the generous bidders.
Jermain Defoe opens our new Day Spa at Boots Milton Keynes
Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe kicked off his football boots last night to try out a Fish Pedicure at the new Champneys Day Spa in Milton Keynes. The star was at the opening party, which was attended by over 100 guests including Josie, winner of Big Brother and Polly Parsons, star of The Real Hustle. The Day Spa has 50% off treatments until the 20th November 2011.
Champneys Tring wins World Travel Award 2011
It is official Champneys Tring is 'The Best Resort in England’ after winning the prestigious World Travel Award 2011, in what was a very competitive field with Chewton Glen, Cliveden House, Danesfield House Hotel and Spa, Four Seasons Hampshire, Hoar Cross Hall and Stoke Park Club also nominated.

Made in Chelsea stars visit Tring!
Caggie and Millie, stars of Channel 4's hot new reality drama Made in Chelsea, recently visted our Tring resort for a relaxing weekend break. The television show follows the lives and loves of a group of globetrotting twenty-somethings living in one of London's most exclusive postcodes.
