About Champéry

Nestled below the impressive Dents du Midi mountain is the beautiful village of Champéry. Hotel de la Paix is a short walk from all of the shops, the cable car, ski hire, ski schools and the train station. Many of the buildings are traditional Swiss wooden chalets adding to the charm of the area. The village has a traditional bakery and cheese shop together with upmarket boutiques and enough bars, cafes, restaurants and nightclubs to keep you amused. There is also a Post Office, supermarket and bank.

For non-skiers there is plenty to keep you busy. A new sports centre in Champéry houses an indoor swimming pool, sauna, gymnasium, rock climbing wall and ice rink. Physiotherapy and massage treatments are available at the sports centre and can also be arranged in our treatment room. A short journey from Champéry will take you to the recently refurbished Thermal Baths in the neighbouring village of Val d'Illiez. Here you can swim outside in mineral rich natural spring water with an average temperature of 32ºC/93ºF, what an experience! Our staff will advise on the local towns and transport options for any visits out of the resort.
